Well I am now 8 1/2 months old and growing like a weed.

Things I can do and say now:

-I can crawl

-stand up to the furniture

- I say Da dad

- say Mum

- say papa(or baba we don't know which)

and last night I started woofing like the dogs.

Oh and I don't like to eat unless I can feed myself.

Catching Up

( Note from mommy: Sorry everyone I have been really busy and have had alot of things on my mind latley so I apologize for not updating Bransons blog more. Once we get all moved and get used to the fact that there is going to be a new baby, hopefully I will get better and things will settle down around here. Thanks for understanding, hope you enjoy!)

Baby Animal Days

East weekend was the baby animal days and it was so fun, I went with Mommy and Aunt Kandice cause Daddy had to work. I got to pet so many animals and seen so many new things. Here is the baby cow that I got to pet. It was really soft.

This the baby lamb, I tried to pet it but the bigger kids kept climbing the fence and stuff so Mommy didn't dare let me down, she was worried that I would get hurt. Its ok though cause the lambs mom didn't want many people around any ways.

This one was the one I liked the most, it is a baby chick. It was soft and it was making noise, I kept trying to grab it but Mommy said it was to little and I had to be careful. I wanted to take it home with me. I didnt like the horse much, I just started to cry when Mommy got to close to it.

Then it was time to get a drink!

I really liked this one too, it was a big turtle, it didnt move much and it didnt make any noise but it felt funny and it didnt try to lick me or eat me.

Then right before we left to go home after our long day of playing with the animals, I got to sit on the easter bunnies lap. I kept petting his hand cause he is so soft.

My first Easter

My first easter, it was fun. We went up to Grandma and Grandpa Porters house the night before and colored eggs and had good dinner and I got a easter basket just full of stuff. Here is one of the toys I got, Mommy fills it with water and then the fish inside of it swim around.

My weekend at Grandma and Grandpa Gorders

I started the weekend off by eating licorice, I got really mad when this piece was gone cause it was so good but I had to get all my clothes off after wards cause I was so messy.

Then the next day we went over to my Great Grandmas house cause we have 5 generations and they wanted to take pictures, this is the third time this has happened in a row, my Mommy was a 5th generation and my Grandma was too. I am the first boy though. They put it in the newspaper down there in Richfield cause I guess its a big deal.

Silly Mommy

The other day Mommy and me had a day full of laundry, we finally got it all done and the Mommy put me in the laundry basket. I fit just perfectly and Mommy thought it was funny. Do you see the tooth brush in my hand? Thats my new favorite toy.

The Willow Park Zoo

On Monday, Mommy and Daddy took me to the zoo, I love to see the animals, there were so many to look at and so many sounds coming from all of them but this was the prettiest one, this bird kept chasing the other ones all around and doing funny stuff, Mommy said he was trying to get a girl friend :)

Then we went over to the park and I got to swing for the first time. I liked it a little but Daddy pushed me to high and I got scared and started to cry.

Big Brother

I am going to be a BIG BROTHER!

Mommy and Daddy told me the other day that I am going to be a big brother. I am not to sure what to think about it, I suppose it will be lots of fun and I will have a friend.

Mommy goes to the doctor in a few weeks to see when the baby is going to come.

Well I have been a very busy boy the past few weeks and I am getting so big and mommy and daddy say that I am learning so much and they are always laughing at me. I have lots of pictures to show what I have been doing.

I took a nap one day and I was not tired when mommy put me to bed so I decided to play a little before I fell asleep and I got turned and had my legs through the bars on my crib so this is what I looked like when mommy came to check on me.


Then mommy decided to share her peeps with me. I LOVE them she held it for me while I sucked on it. After I sucked all the blue sugar stuff off she took it away from me and I just cried. I really liked it and I wanted more. My face and tongue was stained blue for awhile after that.

Then we had a very big snow storm and mommy had to do the shoveling cause daddy had surgery and couldnt do it so I decided I would go outside and keep her company. So here I am all bundled warm to go shovel with mommy.I went to my four month check up this month and I am 25in. long and weigh 14lbs. 15oz. and I was in the 40th percentile for both of those and then I was in the 70th percentile for my head. mommy said its just cause I am so smart. They gave me my shots while I was there so this is me not feeling to well afterwards.

This weekend I went to see my new cousins we are all just about the same age, left to right is River was born in Nov. then Me in Oct. then Bennett who was born in Sept. River was a little shy and he didn't play much but Bennett kept rolling over to me and we had fun trying to play with each other.

Then we did some family pictures, mommy fixed this one for me to use, its a cute one.

Yay for me

I had lots of fun over the weekend. My grammy, grandpa and aunt chelsea came to stay with me. I miss them so much, we watched movies, played with daisy, went shopping and took naps but then they had to go home on sunday so they could all go to work.

On valentines day mommy went shopping and brought me back a big bouncy toy. I love it! It sings, lights up and bounces and had lots of toys to play with. My feet dont quit reach the floor yet so mommy and daddy help me bounce but I dont like my feet to touch the ground so I pick up my feet but mommy said I will learn to like it more.

Yesturday I rolled over for the first time ever. Mommy put me on a blanket on the floor and put me on my belly and over I went. I did it twice then mommy remembered about the flashy thing and tried to record me but then I just started making this high pitch screem until she rolled me over so daddy didn't get to see me do it. Sorry daddy I will show when I am in a happier mood.

Happy late birthday aunt Kandice. Thank you so much for babysitting me every day and for all that you do for us.

3 Months

Well 3 months and 2 days old. Mommy and Daddy say I am growing up so fast. I have done so many new things this month and learned about lots of stuff too.

I finally got the thumb sucking thing down, I usually would rather have that than my binky now too.


I am learning who my pets are, I like to watch them run and play. My puppy makes lots of noises and is so fun to watch when she plays with my daddy. I cant wait till I am big enough to be down there in the middle.


The other day I went to grandma Treesa's to get babysat and this is what I came home doing

yes spitting! I do it all the time and if mommy or daddy do it then I will do it back. Mommy says it bad for us to play that little game cause one day I have to learn NOT to spit but until then its fun and I like to spit at everyone.

Well my little hands are still closed in a tight little fist but I am starting to like my toys, I can see them little better now and I have figured out that they can make noise. The part I don't like is laying on the floor so I don't play for long but I am learing. Every day mommy says I need to have a little play time and a little tummy time so I will learn to crawl some day. I HATE tummy time, my face always gets stuck in the floor and I can not figure out how to get it up so I just move it from side to side then buggers get stuck to my cheek and I start to cry so mommy will pick me up. ( little secret... it works every time! :) )

I love my daddy, I could stare at him all day long if he would hold still long enough. I love to just watch everything and every little move he does. I have always done this but mommy and daddy say that I do it more and more all the time. Whenever I see him he is locked into my sight. I love to watch movies now. I can almost make it through a whole disney movie without falling asleep and some other things from this past month.... I HATE to be burped, if you try to burp me I will arch my back and scream at the top of my lungs until you give me back my bottle, who said you could take it away from me anyways? Also I don't like to sleep during the day, I dont want to miss a thing so I stay awake as much as I can. Mommy and daddy say I need to sleep so they went and got new batteries for my swing and put me in there cause that swing always wins and makes me fall asleep for hours.

I know it sounds like I can be a little stinker some times but I have to keep mommy and daddy in line and going all the time. Mommy always tells me that I make them so happy and that they love me so much, that I am such a handsome little boy, I love it when she wispers these things in my ear. I just love both of them so much, they do so much for me and make me so happy!

I also wanted to tell everyone Happy Birthday this month, sorry that mommy didn't get a post done for you, she has been busy and between me and daddy she don't get much time on the computer, so happy birthday to Daddy, grandma Treesa and uncle Josh. Hope you all have a good year!
